For many, the Long-Distance Training Solution™ might be the first steps in beginning to prepare for long range shooting. For others, this will be an excellent opportunity to practice many of the shooting fundamentals necessary in shooting long distance.
With the Long-Distance Training Solution™ you can zero your rifle, practice shooting at smaller and smaller targets, use your scope adjustments effectively, practice trigger control, improve your behind-the-rifle stability, and of course improve your precision and accuracy. Plus, there are 32 individual bullseyes on a single target. Something for everyone!
The Long-Distance Training Solution™ consists of 2 parts. The first part consists of a 24"x 34" paper target which contains 4 separate shooting lanes, each having a specific purpose. Lane 1 is for zeroing your rifle and general practice. Lane 2 is to aid in becoming accurate enough to hit a simulated 10” target from 200 to 1000 yards. Lane 3 is geared towards using your scope elevation turrets necessary for long-range shooting. Lane 4 uses not only the elevation turrets but the windage turrets as well.
The second part of the Long-Distance Training Solution™ utilizes a D.O.P.E. (Data On Previous Engagement) card, available to download and print, which matches the grid and bullseye locations precisely throughout the target. Additionally, you will learn how to develop your own DOPE for your unique rifle, scope and ammo setup. While a ballistics program is essential for achieving true long-range precision and accuracy, a DOPE card is very handy as an easy-to-use general purpose shooting reference.
Please note, this system is not designed to EMULATE a 1000-yard range. That is just not possible as your bullet will only be travelling 100 yards when this system is properly used, as the complex ballistics involved with a 1000-yard shot is minimized when shooting at a 100-yard target. However, we have placed various bullseyes throughout the sheet that simulates the target size as well as the elevation and windage adjustments necessary for longer range targets. Our precisely printed targets match either type of scope turrets - MIL or MOA, allowing you to dial in a solution to each bullseye.
